What is Quad Bike Safari?
Our quad bikes are suitable for beginners, experts or anyone in between. The quad boasts a 125cc 4-stroke engine for dependable power, easy shifting and no hassle. The bikes are button-operated electric start and their independent A-arm front suspension delivers smooth, responsive steering. Their full-size, stainless steel floorboards and low riding seats make them comfortable and effortless to ride even on bumpy terrain.

The quad bike safari is a one-hour long trek which starts with a training session to ensure the participants know how to ride and control a bike. Once the instructors are happy with your progress, you can follow them on a trek. During the ride you will be zipping across fields, bouncing over rocks, weaving your way through woods, splashing through puddles and careering up and down hills and hollows. As you follow the instructor on the routes, you will also get the chance to take in some breath-taking views of the surrounding country and villages.

Who Can Go on Our Quad Bike Safari?
Quad bikes are specially designed for adults and the minimum age required to drive this ATV is 16 years old. If you are lucky enough to look younger than 16 years, you will need to bring along some proof of age. Driving a quad bike is fun and adventurous pastime, but before hopping on the bike and starting it up; there are few things to learn.
To drive a manual quad bike the rider has to switch gears via the clutch and shifter, similar to a motorcycle or a manual car. This is the main reason that learning to ride can be a daunting and unsuccessful.
A quad bike can only be ridden by someone who has passed their car driving test and who holds a full driving license. However, at our activity centre, you don’t need any license to drive it. It’s an adventure activity so everyone can enjoy it, even if the children want to ride it, they can come with their parents because safety is always the first concern.
The quad bikes are steered using handlebars accelerated using a thumb throttle and braked using a finger operated lever and/or a foot pedal. The changing of gear is controlled by an automatic clutch and an electronic button shift system. Each participant who wants to ride it must be able to confidently steer, brake, change gear and accelerate using these controls so moderate strength is required. Body weight must also be transferred around the bike to safely ride up and across the sloped ground.
Safety Requirements for Quad Bike Safari
Driving a quad bike is easy, as it is suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced riders. You will always be in control of the bike and can drive in a way that is comfortable for you.
Before starting the safari ride, each member of the group will need to demonstrate their ability to ride the bike during the one-to-one tuition prior being able to participate in the safari ride.
Avalanche Adventure is an outdoor activity centre, so there are some things which you should keep in mind if you’re coming for the quad bike safari. If you’re thinking of enjoying the ride in wet and cold days then you will need waterproofs and warm layers of clothing; gloves are recommended.
We recommend you to wear strong footwear or walking boots as open-toed shoes are not suitable for the ride. Be sure that you wear some of your old cloths as the day will be very muddy and dusty. You will enjoy your ride through the river beds due to the different terrains, of water, slopes, and mud.
