Historically, archery has been used for hunting and combat purposes. These days it’s most popular as a sport and as a hobby.
Our 15 metre outdoor range is specifically designed for archery practice using bows with a draw weight from 12 to 22 pounds; ensuring that we cater our archery services to a cross section of interested parties from age 12 upwards.
We provide left and right handed bows and our dedicated team of qualified instructors provide essential archery instruction for beginners all the way to more advanced participants. During our time in business, archery has proved to be one of our most popular activities.
What Kind of People take up Our Archery Activities?
Normally our archery sessions last for 60 minutes, utilising 2, 3 or 4 targets on group sizes and requirements.
We recommend to our groups that anyone taking part in these activities wears appropriate outdoor clothing and boots or wellingtons.
We provide archery for a range of different events; if you’re looking for a corporate or a stag or hen do with a difference then look no further than archery here at Avalanche Adventure.
What Kind of Archery Events Do We Cater for?
We see all kinds of groups at Avalanche Adventure, and we’re happy to accommodate for all kinds, but the most popular we see is:
· Corporate Events
· Stag Parties
· Hen Parties
· Team Building Activities.
We’ve been in business for the best part of two decades now and we never tire of showing our customers a great time. We’re committed to not only showing all of our guests a great time, but also ensuring that all safety regulations are adhered to and everyone can enjoy their day in a way that is safe for themselves and those around them, and this is where our committed safety instructors come in.
12 years and over.
Great customer service prior to the activity - great welcome and good facilities. We were surprised by the range of activities available. Robin and Rachel attended to our needs and the activity ran like clockwork, with adequate but not excessive safety training, leaving lots of time for fun and even a brief inter-family competition at the end. We will certainly go back - 4x4 looks great, as does quad biking.
